((Facebook is my primary way of contacting people and keeping in touch with what's going on in their lives privately, so, yeah. I know it's kind of old now, but why is it even worth putting in the effort to get rid of, might I ask, if it isn't prying for me to ask that? And what sort of social science malarkey class has you using facebook as a requirement?)) ((Facebook is honestly nice for some things merely because of its ubiquity. Local scenes for fighting games, invites to large parties, and being able to contact someone just by there name are all nice things. Because it's just not worth letting facebook into my life if I can help it. I don't use it much, but the type of content there and the way it organizes it is way, way worse than other social media and I'd rather just disconnect myself entirely.)) ((Fair enough, honestly. . . . Actually now that you say that, you kind of just made me realize that a lot of shit that I've had to deal with when it comes to trying to separate my family from the elements of my personal life that clash and cause problems between me and them were basically entirely a product of having facebook as a arrogate of my social life. . . Wow. Yeah, I guess I just have become so used to that being just an element of chaos in my life I didn't even consider I had the option to just delete my facebook . . . Jesus, fuck facebook.))

"Well, no." Theo got onto his horse. "Not really. But he's super testy around everyone except Garrett. Thankfully he ignores us if we don't bother him when we go into the stables to get our night-mares, but... sometimes new recruits are dumb." He looked over at Hunter, who was coming to join them. "Like that one when he first joined." "Like when I first joined what?" Hunter asked, looking confused. "Nothing," Theo said innocently. "Cut the crap, you two." Chief looked over at Alphan. "Woden informed me that you'll be taking the lead once we arrive there. I'm letting you know I won't get in your way; I'm here to keep these two in check while we listen in on your long-distance trinket thing. You good with that?" Alphan nodded once. It was weird-- he never got sent on group missions with anyone other than Garrett. Not for a long time anyway.

((Here with you guys, I used to be very keen on being called "exacta." Most of that was because this was/is my escapism, and on the internet I try to avoid being called by (as Demolition D calls it) my "slave name."
I don't really care that much any more. I've never had to deal with any of the kind of shit you have, but one thing I like about making Youtube videos to express myself online is that it would take a hell of a lot more work for someone to respond in kind to my Youtube videos than it would for them to respond in kind to a Facebook post.
Facebook's got this thing going on where it pretends that everything is great by not having any way to dislike things and by catering your feed not by chronology but by giving you things it thinks you'll like more and slowly shoving under the rug the things that it thinks you won't like.
Also I've got a lot of embarrassing posts from middle school that I'd like to get rid of.))

"Let's go." The party leader kicked his heels to his night-mare, and they were off.

I've seen that with the ads too, and the prompts about "Have you seen this ad on your FB feed?" I honestly rarely post on Facebook, and more often than not just share stuff nowadays. I don't know if I'll delete mine yet...too many people I know still use it. But maybe I'll finally make the jump over to instagram, I haven't decided yet. Also, not to mention comments, likes, games, etc, from middle school too.))

Aphan kept something of a distance from the other hunters, still feeling a little gun shy around the houses.

Social media sites have their stereotypes, and I hate to jump on this UX bandwagon that's so popular, but the way you interact with social media really is everything. Facebook's true main component is the share, mixed with its comments and likes. Arguably, your facebook profile is the closest social media profile to the "real" you, depending on how you use it. Instagram is a bit different because it's so non-condusive to conversation. The comments on instagram are hard to follow. It's hard to continue a conversation on instagram, and I think that's on purpose. It's a stream of photos and that's about it, which works well if you're a model or a meme page, but bad if you're looking to express anything non-visual, which facebook can do better. Every social media (even ones I don't really think count, like reddit or youtube) have their niche, and it's less about the types of people that form the stereotype of the userbase and more about how we interact with the platform.))

But maybe that's my answer, if I don't have anything and I'm not super invested in going to instagram, might as well not.))

Aphan kept something of a distance from the other hunters, still feeling a little gun shy around the houses. They travelled for a good long while before Chief slowed his night-mare down to a halt. He dismounted, and crouched down near the ground, brushing a hand against a plant. "This is where we tied up the horses. Sean's blood is still here from when he was shot." He stood up and looked over at Alphan, who was catching up. "Here might be good for you to travel alone now; we encountered your copy cat a few yards from here."

((I'm just about to head to bed, but I'm good with pausing what Baker and I are doing right now. I can't plot any more urban magic/superhero stuff, but if you got ideas or even just want to casually rp, I would be fine with that.))

"Okay . . ." He sighed, then paused looking between the three of them. " . . . Uh, turn around guys. I have to strip."

((would you like me to start then? Here.))
Roger was just coming out of the edge of the forest as he was finishing pulling his shirt back on. Not wanting to go inside again just yet, he took out a cigarette and lit it, leaning against one of the trunks of the bordering trees. He watched the HQ from afar like he was expecting it to move at any second, a brooding, contemplative look on his face.

((Well, I more so mean in really broad strokes. I had an excuse last time, that Ben post-ascention was just being pulled in and out of reality which made him disappear at times, but really he (I) just disappeared in the climax of the action last time.))
