The dog didn't respond to either of them.
Thom was starting to look impatient.
Dave must've sensed this, as he pulled out an iron knife and held it up against the cu sidhe's throat. "You WILL smell her, or I will kill you and then your soul, or consciousness, or whatever passes for a soul to you fey creatures, will cease to exist!" he threatened.
The dog, despite wanting to keep his dignity, whimpered quietly and gave in. He pointed his nose at Sally and inhaled her smell, trying to find the scent that the traitors had given him from a piece of clothing.

"STOP! STOP!" Sally mom-scolded Dave, wagging on agressive finger at him in two short flicks. She turned back to the dog, his nose now in her face, she tried to gently lie hee hand on it's head to stoke it's fur. "I can help you." She whispered to it in her very rusty tongues.

The runt's ears twitched at that, and he blinked at Sally. He seemed younger than Faolan to Sally even with his small size, but he understood tongues; he was fluent when it came to listening and understanding, but he still couldn't speak the words yet. He whimpered again, but gave Sally a wink to show he got her message.
"Get away, girl!" Dave shoved her back.

Sally shot a death glare at Dave.

"Now, then, what did you smell?" Dave demanded.
The cu sidhe rolled his eyes to look at Dave, then at Sally, then at Dave again. Then he gave a loud bark and a defiant snarl.
"Fine! You've already given me all that I need to know," Dave said. He shoved the dog away roughly.
"Restrain the runt," Thom ordered the other hunters. Two other hunters hopped off of her horses, one holding onto the nound while the other started to tie his legs and muzzle together. To Dave, Thom asked, "Explain, David."
"Alphan is residing in the girl there," Dave answered, pointing at Sally. "I don't know how, but she had been residing in his mind or soul when he was at the camp. I wasn't sure before, but I recognized her voice just now from before, when I think she had taken control over Alphan's mind."

" . . . Well, I can honestly say, I've been accused of a lot of things, but . . . That takes the cake." Sally shook her head. "Look, you all have done a bang up job of making me scared for my life, so you can go home now!"

"...Are you sure?" Thom sounded uncertain.
"Yes," Dave reaffirmed. "I'm certain of it.
"If you are wrong, I will have your head for it," Thom warned. "Get the girl."

Shit. Well, this didn't go very well. Sally snapped her fingers and summoned several golems to create a diversion as she ran to rescue the runt, quickly sprinting through the hunters.

The hunters were caught off guard by the golems, but got right to action, drawing swords and fighting them like calvary.
The ones on the ground near the dog drew their own swords when Sally approached them, and charged at her.
Meanwhile, an octopus-like camoflauged figure darted from the house and into the fray. If Sally saw it, she would've recognized the figure as Finley, using her power to give herself an advantage.

Sally snapped her fingers again ans summoned more golems, so she was able to slip through once they became busy with them. She swiftly pulled the restraints from the og.

Once the hound was free, he bolted for the HQ.
"Sally!" Finley appeared once Sally resuced the dog, her camoflauge disappearing. Though she was fighting without a weapon, she held the remote Shane had given Roger to control the iron fence. "Get inside the HQ, quickly!"

Sally did jut that, as fast as she could.

Finley raced to HQ, pressing the remote as soon as she stepped on the front step.
At first, there was a quiet swoosh as the sod covering flipped back. Then, there was a deep, resounding shuttering as the iron fence shot through the ground in front of the charging hunters. Their horses reared back, screaming as they tossed a few of their riders off their backs.

Sally wanted to make sure the runt was okay, especially being now surrounded by iron.

The dog was trembling, but not so much from the iron. He was badly bruised, and there were a few fresh cuts on his flank, coloring his white fur with red much like his ears. He was hurt, and terrified. The human hunters were friends, and they had turned on him; the betrayal he felt was terrible. He didn't know who any of these people are either, even if the tiny female showed him kindness.
Finley shut the door and locked it, just in case. "We should be good," she said quietly. "The fence should keep them busy for a good while."
